ARTIST'S STATEMENT: The seductive, temporal character of the natural world with it's quirky Technicolor architecture clamors for my attention as an artist. I use experimental and traditional vitreous enameling and metalsmithing techniques to create colorful textured forms that refer to lush plant organisms or sea life. Light passes through the mesh and is reflected subtly with movement, eliciting surprise from the viewer.
