ARTIST'S STATEMENT: This work is an exploration of materials and processes as they push the boundaries of contemporary jewelry. With the juxtaposition of both modern and traditional techniques, this work is articulated by forms found in the natural world whether real or imagined. By showing that things made not only by hand, but also by machine can have the same quality of craftsmanship, these works are a study in actuality.
