Artist's Statement: There is a secret in haute couture. And every handbag has a secret. Haute couture handbag emits luxury. I`ve made these mini-handbags like luxurious jewellery. Small but very important individual accessoires, which corresponds to the character of its wearer. They express feminity, tenderness, sexappeal, curiousity, temptation and romance. An extravagant companion for extraordinary occasions. Silver, silk, glass crystal, feather, fur and pearl is the material these colorful bags are made from. Each of them has a diameter of 4". I have used different techniques, like silversmithing, sewing, faceting and stone setting.
